One good thing about sitting around home doing very little is that I actually get to satisfy my reading cravings for a change. Recent and recommended: For historical fiction fans- Falls the Shadow by Sharon Kay Penman, about the Welsh royal family in the 13th cen. Mary Queen of Scotland and the Isles a big chunk of reading, but super interesting (if you care about 16th cen. England...). For some lighter interests, I just finished All American Girl by Meg Cabot (of the Princess Diaries) Good fun and about on par with the later PDs, not as good as the first one, though.
If non-fiction is more your thing, definitely read War Is a Force That Gives Us Meaning by Chris Hedges (?). He was a journalist that covered pretty much every major conflict since Vietnam. Scary and good. Need inspiration? Living Buddha, Living Christ by Thich Nhat Hahn is great so far, but I'm not quite done yet.
Ahhh reading luxury. Guess I'd better enjoy it while it lasts!
